Freedom in beauty
Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.  – Rumi

THE SEA
by justme

I stood before the ridging waves
falling down then rising up, rolling forward effortlessly.
Feet lowered in sinking sand as tiny tickles spread my toes
Foaming white lusciousness, popped and fizzled
Tiny objects pushed forward then pulled back
Salt upon my lips left behind by a soft hidden breeze.
Always sun upon my face.

No man could plan this scene
No man could create the sand, the sparkling water, the taste of salt.
Not even one grain of sand can he create.
Yet it is everywhere.
Infinite intelligence waved the wand
From some place else it did conceive
For now, I can but look, and see myself.
Silent joy as I am part of this picture. This scene.
Where else shall I look that I might believe?
What else did I miss before me?
Through these eyes of light I now perceive
My god, my god, look my friends.
I can see ! ∞

Take me home

PRAYER OF THE SILENT RIVER
by justme

Silent river run your stream
Teach me now of all unseen.
Silent river going where?
You weave and dance without a care.

Silent river like a pain ignored
A crutch attached,human man ignored.
Silent river, not so silent now.
Where or when or if or how.

Silent river filled with dreams.
Teasing, tempting is what it seams.
Your going where? Please let us know.
Men don’t know, yet the babble flows.

Silent river please take me home.
To the land were mothers angels roam
And I shall rest and deeply sleep
To dream of past and my secrets keep.

Silent river now I shall die.
I shall never know if you will so cry.
But silent river you shall carry me on.
Until you stop where I belong.

Silent river my fathers here.
The sound of time, no longer near.
Silent river wash my hand
…..

…..and lay me gently, upon the silent land. ∞

Symphony

“The symphony crescendos and continues unheeded”

The beginning of existence

The action surrounding the connecting of two, leading to the rhythm and joining together as if one, is the fulfilment of a desire of completion, once standard, then lost, once passive, then searched. The same action is not determined by an act of free will, but triggered by a memory of what once was. The memory provoked and stimulated through the gross or the conscious is an indication of the completion and , left by others,  the beginning of existence.

The wind not of air

THE WIND NOT OF AIR
by justme

‘Go away oh wind so cold, your stabbing knives
Of force are not welcome here’
‘Who could create such a vile and unwanted thing?’
Oxygen, my food, so very near.
Yet, you force my breath as I gulp for life,
‘You chase it from me and distract upon my memory, when once upon a time
This man was free’
Go away that I may think, you thumping, drunken, slapping stink.

I AM THE WIND.

Cry not oh human upon a memory, yet forget the wind
For it held you close and tucked you neath the ancient heavenly stars
It never once asked, if you have ever sinned
It’s thundering words came like showers
Shivering through the fields and rivers, trees and flowers

For I , I am the wind, I hold the memory of yesteryear
And then, and now
Feel my touch of love, feel my warmth chase away and steer
Around your fingers, i wrap and tangle and show you how
The dream of memory is always near,
And yet
I hold also the promises of tomorrow, without your fear.

For I am the wind that started there and here
Though I be turbulent, tumultuous and wild
Also can I be caressingly near
Gentle and innocent
Holding the emptiness and potentiality of any mothers child.

Close your eyes and touch my emptiness
That you may feel my fullness and allow me,
to  carry you
My source, my friend, my forever master
Let go and let me sway and swing you homeward,
Now and,
Ever faster.

And a wind not of air but of spirit passed through me
The veil it dropped the clouds they cleared
The road raised up, the forests cheered
It lifted me high so I could see.
Perfect stillness
This man is free.

The pebble

THE PEBBLE
by justme

Q: Why are we here ?
A: To bear witness to the pebble

Within the pebble is a vast universe to find.
Rivers and seas, valleys and mountains to climb.
Within the centre is you and I, so silent but real
See just a pebble and your eyes they will fail.
There is a space within this tiny hard skin.
So wide, so high, this is where your search should begin.
So be aware when your foot steps upon a thousand of these.
For a man who walks gently his soul now he frees.

Always there

This quote is part of the poem ” The Moon” by justme.

The moon

THE MOON
by justme

As ancients seen, so do I
A throbbing light, a painted globe
Upon a pinpricked sparkled sky
Suspended in the nothingness of black.
Always there, poetic universal rhyme
Dangling upon an invisible track
Of timeNo man has more monument or shrine
Still, you do not speak, or smirk, for thine,
calmly, gently, slip thy turn
Though you speed at thousands
No mass thou burn.
To me.So say man, so say the stumbling blinded child
From ancient Babylonia and Sinn, the wild
Danu, Rig Veda, all true. And the snaking Danube.
Why oh moon, do they all honour you?Yet still, you do not speak.

Should man hold tongue and learn your ways?
Of course you see the madness, of the groping human days.
I have never seen your sadness.
Though I felt my own,
in so many different ways.

Lunatic you said, lunatic he made.
King Lycaeon loves to hate you, too.
Your full of awe and moving, magical mystique
Still I watch, yet still great moon,
you do not speak

Oh to have your silence, to thunder your roar
Of watched human woes
Yet to dance as you dance,
with arrogance of one who knows.

Yet from here, you look so small
I could grab you and squash you in my palm
With no difficulty at all.
And yet,
You never look like you will ever fall.

I love you.
Yet I do not know you.
Yet you have watched us all.
The Good, the bad, the humble, the weak.
Yet sweet moon,
You never speak,
at all.
