Filled with perfect

FOR ONCE THERE WAS A PERFECT TIME
By justme

For once there was a perfect time, filled with perfect, in perfect rhyme.
The laze of man, of thing and things and all the emptiness that human brings
Met with perfect, at the door, dropped it’s bag and cried no more.
Yet human man he soon forgot, built his castle, learned to rot.
Forgot that perfect, held his hand, tolled the roads, ploughed the land.

Then one day when man was old, a moment touched, a silence hold.
Of a perfect day, not noticed then, cared then less, cared not again.
It’s that call that calls him now.
Frets the beads, upon his brow.

For….
…….perfect came and perfect went
A perfect moment, no man has spent
For perfect is as perfect be, perfect touch, as perfect see.
Yes perfect called, this man missed thee
For perfect shouts, so silently.

Perfect kissed with perfect breath
Then perfect looked,
Then perfect,

left.∞

Embrace of silence

Embrace of silence

Quote gelb

Liberation is not the formation of words or rhetoric but the embracing of silence. That perfect silence, so available it is ignored for its dullness of being. Yet grab its breath, hold it hand and fill thy souls, for simple is as simple needs and simple sacrifice, stands and bleeds. Simple sits so wild and free, yet simple cares, yes it cares, so silently.

A LITTLE PRAYER
by justme

Can’t you hear it? Can’t you see?
Can’t you feel it, flying free?
It’s on your finger tips, it touches your face, its in your hands, it leaves no trace.
It is the missing on the tip of your tongue, it began its life before yours had ever begun.
It is the silent, the quiet in you.
It is the strongest, that thing they call true.
So take just a moment and close both your eyes.
And from the silent, Gods grace will arise.∞

Black Cats

Stay with me

LOVE ME, LIKE I LOVE YOU
by justme

Love me, like I love you.
Touch me with all thats true.
For the night is dark and cold and still is the air.
Will you just stand, look upon me and stare?
I am just the same as you.
A roaring lion but underneath a shrew.

I only play dead that you might see
The true humanity within justme

I asked dear god to save you so
I prayed the prayer only martyrs know
Still they came and stole you away
The enlightened book proved no sway.

So all was gone and your breast was pierced
An intruder there within the grail
Children cried and yet forgot
Yet you mother, guarded from the cot.

They say yesterday is but a simple dream
Yet here is the place you and I have been
Let no man shout about what I have not
Unless they seen you, spoke to you or seen your lot.
Let heaven or hell or the clouds fall in
For a kiss from you I would commit all sin.

Stay with me just a little while for the night draws dark and soon sleep shall come.
As eyelids close, vagueness falls, the picture evaporates…
and nothings left to understand, at all.

Stay with me just a little while
Hold me tight as I recoil. For cold is the night and all is lost ∞

For here is forever

TIME
by justme

Human man thinks of time
Of eight o’clock an hour from nine
The sixty minutes in between
pass him by, they’re never seen

Through laugh and tears he tears it down
Yet many seconds are never found
Always the future is in this mans mind
That it may be, so much more kind
than the moment mind calls to heart
the memory from which he will not part.

And all the while, time slips away
And man he has nothing, nothing to say.
For time is free and won’t hold still
No man has stopped, no man can kill.

Yet within the space of this thing called time.
Lies a truth for you and for all mankind.
All that exists existed before there was time
A beautiful space, a beautiful rhyme.

You will find it between the measures of time
In the gaps of the seconds filled by the blind.
It lies in the stillness and purity of heart
It knows not the end it knows not the start.

It is aware of the constant the forever in you
It knows not the lack it knows not the do.
Just close your eyes and lay down your fear
For here is forever
and time never
lived here ∞

This heart is not so lost

I AM THAT BIRD
by justme

“I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A small bird will drop frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself “.
~ D.H. Lawrence

I am that bird that sat upon that tree
Looking all about of me.
I am that bird that stilled and died
And it’s true no tears, this bird has cried

Yet I this bird, still chose the tree
Though I will die, it still comforts me
This heart therefore is not so lost
It’s true I’ll die, but I still avoid the frost.

Even though we believe in truth

And accept we perhaps, have no proof

Except what agrees within our hearts

Still we are human, playing the human parts.

Like this bird someday we all will die

We can question and ask the reason why

There is nothing wrong for us to find our tree

To ask their protection and help to be.

When we shelter upon that place

And God looks gently upon our face

When we look at deaths own door

And human fight can fight, no more.

Lay your head upon your tree

Whisper softly, easy and gently

‘I am a bird that sits upon a tree
I love that you are here with me ‘.

The world of trees with a universal song

Will sing to the universe to which you belong

‘ This is our sister the world let roam,
treat her well, love her, then take her home ‘.

From a soul that must

OUR FATHER
by justme

Our father where are you? Who are you ? Who am I?
I have spat words and words, added opinion until I cry.
I have pursued things and people, selfish, imaginary wealth.
I have believed I was the orchestrator,
the giver and taker of health.
I have ignored the call and fall from birth to tomb
Whoever, whatever you are?
I fall silent.
I have ran out of room!

Floating ember fairy lights pin up the sky

While, shooting falling teardrops, break up and cry

to spread across a black hallowed darkness of empty space

And flash a vast peaceful picture, through almighty grace.

Tiny human, looks on, as a slight, delicate, speck of dust

yet releases a powerful silent whisper, from a soul that must,

Find it’s place within this vastness of all things unknown,

Just a human and this thing called universe, innocently, quietly, all alone.

She falls silent

and gently, beautifully, she slips home.

For you go before me…

We can never go to paradise willingly. Grace chooses us and despite us, not because of us, we like the prodigal son will reluctantly return to paradise. We will return when we have the humility and understanding and knowledge to say “Father, Mother God, creator of everything, without whom nothing could exist, I am your child who lost my way, they say.
Life, source, master of the universe, God of man and child and beast, I rest my head upon your lap, for the journey is hard and the hill ahead is steep”.

I father, put my trust in you, for you go before me to make the crooked places straight, yet I did not know.

Such is life, such is my way.
