I know nothing

THAT LUSCIOUS ROSE
by justme

That luscious rose just a few feet away
Yet I passed it by each and many day.
I lie and wait your visit.
I long your tender tears to drop and endlessly break free.
I instruct and demand the universe with pull and play
To draw that salted drop of life to me.
Just to connect with that which I so often did not see.

Lift this weight of soil and stone, that suffocates this man, but wont.
Break me free from wood and dress.
Day or night it’s all a dark blackness here
The stale air keeps coming and never is there any less.
An eerie silence I know fills that graveyard up above.
And when you come they come to comfort you and to make you leave.
Stay please just a second longer. I hear your words.
Drop you that final kiss and I will reach it with my clasping stagnant hands of bone.
Oh to hold you now or to feel the wind.
I long the snail and slug and inevitability to come.
A million years upon each second as time drools its way
I cannot force my head to explode, though I try.
Another crunched up, cold, dark, endless day.

I scream to the world with all that’s left,
Yet the ant screams louder than I .
I thump and batter the sides of the coffin, my prison.
How shall I die? How can I die?
I hear your softness call my name.
Go home you say, we shall meet some day.

I close my eyes and give up the fight
I shall be here for two million years.
It’s all ok. I am here but you are there.
I much rather it be this way.
Go my love and dance with the sun.

Then suddenly within an instance and yet not timed
The sun it broke the ground, unrhymed
Its ray stabbed my heart, but with joy
The universe swung me as a toy.
I cared not where or what it did, to move and feel and sway and swap
It elevated me straight to the very top
I watched you cry and laugh broke out.
I seen the tears and wondered what that’s about.

Why you looking for me down there?
Don’t waste your breath or give a care
For I am here in simple bliss
No permits, or remarked remiss.
A simple thing stopped me rotting
I realised simply,
I know nothing. ∞

Embrace of silence

Embrace of silence

Quote gelb

Liberation is not the formation of words or rhetoric but the embracing of silence. That perfect silence, so available it is ignored for its dullness of being. Yet grab its breath, hold it hand and fill thy souls, for simple is as simple needs and simple sacrifice, stands and bleeds. Simple sits so wild and free, yet simple cares, yes it cares, so silently.

COME TO ME
by justme

It is within this emptiness I live.
It is within these tears I thrive.
It is within this nothingness I sleep and it is within this sleep I die.

Come to me all ye who are of haste,
lay your head gently upon my breast….
For the darkness that overshadows you,
is but the stone upon your face.
Take the stone, oblige the weight,
one foot forward, await thy fate.
Silent is the moon, the stars shout not either.
Quiet is the rivers, the sea a constant giver.

The wind picks up the leaf

DSC_0008

quotation rotThe wind picks up the leaf along the way, sometimes the experience is turbulent, furious and violent, yet the same wind can lift the same leaf and gently, softly, kindly, lead it on a dreamy dance, of love.
Blame not the wind, fault not the leaf, for everything is as it should be and the leaf will land exactly as to is its destiny, which was an idea, once whispered gently to the wind and set forth, once formed and sewn with sinew through the vibrating yet withering veins of the little leaf.

Shout as you might but your shouts are not louder than the wind. Be moralistic then but still your morals smash and crash upon the rocks of illusion, maybe not this day. Shock as you try, yours are as a resemblance of a spark fighting against a crackling storm. Preach as the teacher and your elegant quill shall someday be recalled upon by its fated owner, though that will be upon a darker, restless hour.

Many have eyes but few can see.

Between the measures of time

Karlskirche

quotation rotYou will find it between the measures of time
In the gaps of the seconds filled by the blind.
It lies in the stillness and purity of the heart
It knows not the end, it knows not the start.

This quote is taken from the poem ” Stay with me” by justme.

Beyond duality

STEADY STARE
by justme

Steady stare gaze the words.
Conjured mind sharpens the knife.
Deliberate slice divides and shapes
the baggaged view of man.
A view the observer thinks is correct
uncovered by them for all.
Their gift passed with selfish pride.
Accepted by the majority as a gift of truth
delicately wrapped and silk bow tied.
Identical twins commend each other.
Flightless birds swap their mentor.
Forgetting the words the carpenter gave.
‘Few there be that enter’.

To go with the wind

Ship

A SHIP ON A JOURNEY
by justme

Stillness, silence,
peace prevails,
Quiet solitude.
A ship on a journey.
Heading somewhere, it sails.

Through seas of thunder and of rage.
To gentle lapping,
upon an endless stage.
Bright white sail says ‘look at me’
Rolled up aramid says
I don’t want to see!’

A rudder moved by a thousand hands
By smells and visions
No vessel understands
Turn left? Turn right?
Who really knows the way?
If I stop I sink
tomorrow’s day.

To push north against the south
Needs strength, and brow
To head east or west
Its all a guess right now.

Oh for a sailor who would lend their hand?
Sadly the sailors are busy,
being grand.

So the stars and the moon,
directing me on.
The wind pushes me forward.
My deck has the sun.
The dolphin of life,
guard each of my sides.
I stopped with deciding
And it suddenly glides

Oh to surrender and accept I don’t know
To go with the wind
And the sails as they blow
To take each minute as if for the first
To eat when I am hungry and drink when I thirst
That’s what it is to live in the now
To shatter my needs and to life take a bow.

Where to? I don’t know
And least do I care
For a fatherly hand is taking me there.
The lesson for all vessels on the path
Is not to go against
The waves and the wrath
But gently lead on and life will take you
To your destination,
To that place,
you already
knew ! ∞
