You are our breath

It is within the moments of dread, of fear, when everything is too much, when nothing is enough, when everything is wrong because of you, or so it seems. It is in such moments, you cannot see the stars, the sun is hidden and the sounds of silence are no more.
It is in such moments that life shouts out to you, ” my child, you are an instructor of the universe, you are that which makes the rivers roll and the grasses bow, you are our breath, you give us life”

For the stars they are always there, the sun it never leaves, it is you who is the silence, yet even the silence to know itself must check upon the noise, the greater noise, that silence must be understood, that the moon must have its turn, that the stars too must sleep.
Hold your moment and court it well, for as a moment come, so shall it pass and the view upon the alter shall differ upon the lifting of the fog.
Such is your life and so shall be mine.

Amen.

Who am I ?

I WALK ALONE
by justme

I walk alone
A slow enduring walk
I lift my head to look around
Food for life I need
Slowly, delicately, no talk.

Hide me, don’t notice me
I shake my head
Is this my life?
No one to help
Who am I ?

I want to break free
I want to be me
Let me be alive
Please, no more I strive

Is this who I am?
Oh life what are you ?
Who am I ?
What do I belong too?

Then with glimpse I see
Old falls away
What is this fantastic dress?
Not mine, not yours
Who am I ?
Coloured beauty ecstasy
Who is this?
Or why ?

I know not why
But with everything I spread wide
To seek the source
Now a butterfly I

The dream of life

THE DREAM OF LIFE
by justme

My dream is the dream of life
Found in death, freed by death
A sorrowful thing am I.
I sit upon the tree alone, it’s branches tremble not, for it is I who shivers
My shaking wakes the earth, no other birds will sit with me, the onlooker, the gazer of things.
My song the song of my forefathers, breathes life, calls death, a waiting thing am I
Alone, so very alone.
Yet to my silent tune the clouds they dance, they cry, they move.
To my silent dance we hold each other and smile and weep for a lost tomorrow
Somewhere within the space between the stars, held within the moment is my place.
A perfect place, a quiet place, where I belong
where I am real

The rock

I am that ‘rock’ that amazing creature named, yet as a rock, I knew no name, I held no time, I held no place.
Then the creature came, it held me as in photography, it cut and claimed my boundaries, it coloured me and wrapped a chain to hold my heart, it suffocated me.
Yet this chain, it has both ends and although one end contracts upon my skin, the other, attaches to the mind and soul of that creature, it weighed heavy upon that heart, it weighs heavy upon my heart, when first they named me, when first they chained their minds.
We the things of freedom, we the indescribable, we the timeless….
It bound us then, this creatures thing…
It bound us then….

It still does
