Silent moment

SILENT MOMENT
by justme

Silent moment kiss my face, perfect moment perfect place.
Silent second steal away, gentle breath warm I pray.
God is with us, God is here, quiet Father always near.
Spirit souls on our way, another challenge to fill this day.
Trembling hearts behind the scene, lets us know, we all have been
to a place we hide, from all,
a secret cave of hurt and fall.
Yet get ye off your swollen knees, chase your chains with thoughts that frees
For the mighty are mighty when we are on the ground
The king is king in kingdoms he found.
The great are great while man kneels and lies
Come my brother,
come let us rise !

To him who has

HE PRAYS
by justme

To him who has, shall it be given,
the choice of man, man now living.
Wander ye, among the thorns,
clinging he, his heart forlorn,
For a greater good, not told to man,
for man has known, yet man, has no plan.
Yet settle he, upon the earth,
feel the touch, the touch of birth,
he looks around and sees no pain,
no human pull, no human gain.

He prays ∞

Breathe

BREATHE
by justme

It is not you who rises from the bed.
It was not you who stumbled upon the truth.
It will not be you who dies a hero’s death.
For you are a thing of beauty, no bed has touched, no thought has held, no death shall call.
Oh childless thing, partner of the living breath.
Breathe
Breathe
Breathe
That thy breath may hold the sharpness of the moment.
That thy eye may catch the glimmer of this moment.
This moment, this perfect moment… filled with one million moments and then some more..
You that once was that child, so longed for.
Pray with me, you little thing.

Yet

YET
by justme

You say you do not know me
Yet I know you
You say you never met me
Yet I met you
You say you never loved me
Yet I have always loved you
You say you never spoke to me
Yet I always speak to you
You say you are looking for me
Yet here I am.
You say to people we are one
Yet you act like we are two
You say you will never die
Yet you are dead right now
You said I am the answer
Yet you never asked.

You have said all these things
Some imaginary, some true
You have said all these things
Still I always love you

I am love

I AM LOVE
by justme

I am your rock, strong and steadfast.
I am the blade of grass and I bend and bow in a summers breeze.
I am the breeze that caresses the grass.
I am the soil than holds firm the rock, the grass.
I am the nutrients that feed the grass.
I am the life that loves the breeze, the rock.
I am that, I am this.
I am not this,I am not that.
I am the natural in between..
The natural in between is love.
I am love and you are my loved.

I have come because you told me to.

The wind not of air

THE WIND NOT OF AIR
by justme

‘Go away oh wind so cold, your stabbing knives
Of force are not welcome here’
‘Who could create such a vile and unwanted thing?’
Oxygen, my food, so very near.
Yet, you force my breath as I gulp for life,
‘You chase it from me and distract upon my memory, when once upon a time
This man was free’
Go away that I may think, you thumping, drunken, slapping stink.

I AM THE WIND.

Cry not oh human upon a memory, yet forget the wind
For it held you close and tucked you neath the ancient heavenly stars
It never once asked, if you have ever sinned
It’s thundering words came like showers
Shivering through the fields and rivers, trees and flowers

For I , I am the wind, I hold the memory of yesteryear
And then, and now
Feel my touch of love, feel my warmth chase away and steer
Around your fingers, i wrap and tangle and show you how
The dream of memory is always near,
And yet
I hold also the promises of tomorrow, without your fear.

For I am the wind that started there and here
Though I be turbulent, tumultuous and wild
Also can I be caressingly near
Gentle and innocent
Holding the emptiness and potentiality of any mothers child.

Close your eyes and touch my emptiness
That you may feel my fullness and allow me,
to  carry you
My source, my friend, my forever master
Let go and let me sway and swing you homeward,
Now and,
Ever faster.

And a wind not of air but of spirit passed through me
The veil it dropped the clouds they cleared
The road raised up, the forests cheered
It lifted me high so I could see.
Perfect stillness
This man is free.

The pebble

THE PEBBLE
by justme

Q: Why are we here ?
A: To bear witness to the pebble

Within the pebble is a vast universe to find.
Rivers and seas, valleys and mountains to climb.
Within the centre is you and I, so silent but real
See just a pebble and your eyes they will fail.
There is a space within this tiny hard skin.
So wide, so high, this is where your search should begin.
So be aware when your foot steps upon a thousand of these.
For a man who walks gently his soul now he frees.

Always there

This quote is part of the poem ” The Moon” by justme.

The moon

THE MOON
by justme

As ancients seen, so do I
A throbbing light, a painted globe
Upon a pinpricked sparkled sky
Suspended in the nothingness of black.
Always there, poetic universal rhyme
Dangling upon an invisible track
Of timeNo man has more monument or shrine
Still, you do not speak, or smirk, for thine,
calmly, gently, slip thy turn
Though you speed at thousands
No mass thou burn.
To me.So say man, so say the stumbling blinded child
From ancient Babylonia and Sinn, the wild
Danu, Rig Veda, all true. And the snaking Danube.
Why oh moon, do they all honour you?Yet still, you do not speak.

Should man hold tongue and learn your ways?
Of course you see the madness, of the groping human days.
I have never seen your sadness.
Though I felt my own,
in so many different ways.

Lunatic you said, lunatic he made.
King Lycaeon loves to hate you, too.
Your full of awe and moving, magical mystique
Still I watch, yet still great moon,
you do not speak

Oh to have your silence, to thunder your roar
Of watched human woes
Yet to dance as you dance,
with arrogance of one who knows.

Yet from here, you look so small
I could grab you and squash you in my palm
With no difficulty at all.
And yet,
You never look like you will ever fall.

I love you.
Yet I do not know you.
Yet you have watched us all.
The Good, the bad, the humble, the weak.
Yet sweet moon,
You never speak,
at all.

The Journey

THE JOURNEY
by justme

 (Read by the author)

At first you did not recognise me…..I came to wake you because you told me so.
You told me you would sleep; you told me just a breath ago.

It seems so long ago, and yet….!

The whirling whirl of everything, but stop …and then a gust passed over me,
not of wind
or air but
of spirit…
I remembered you;
I remembered why I came to you.
It was because you told me to
I shook you at first, but you did not know me.
You wanted me to go away.
Then you looked at me.
What emerged was a strange curiosity.

Then you saw yourself in me.

Serenity,
depth,
then finally – mortality

Oh to miss a thousand years, oh to weep a thousand tears
‘Have I nothing? Is what you cried

Silence prevailed

Soon
you flew high.

Then…

Crashing, tumbling torrents of fury
Smashing gouging thunders
Crater and mass obliterating gory.
Why me?’ you said, why you?” you asked

I came to wake you because you told me so, you told me you would sleep, you told me this, just a breath ago.
I am come to wake you because you told me to..

You came for me?
You promised you would come for me!

Brooding, effervescent unravelling
Bubbling, and unfolding epiphany.
Eyes that see, ears that hear
the veil has lifted, all is clear.

Tenderness touch,
warm embrace,
then finally -translucency.

Recognition of a hundred lives
joyful laugh – bursting breath

Then you looked at me

Oh my self you came for me.
I asked you to wake me up.
You remembered, you came for me.

Yes. I came because you told me to.
I woke you because you asked me to.

Thank you friend.

Now I must go.
I will drift
with the wind.
Rise in the ether
and fall with the snow

Your eyes are closing and now you will sleep
Is there a promise that I should keep?
Oh dear friend remember me
Come and wake me before my end.
Tell me that I sent you so
Let me know I sent you.

Just a breath, just a moment ago
