From a soul that must

OUR FATHER
by justme

Our father where are you? Who are you ? Who am I?
I have spat words and words, added opinion until I cry.
I have pursued things and people, selfish, imaginary wealth.
I have believed I was the orchestrator,
the giver and taker of health.
I have ignored the call and fall from birth to tomb
Whoever, whatever you are?
I fall silent.
I have ran out of room!

Floating ember fairy lights pin up the sky

While, shooting falling teardrops, break up and cry

to spread across a black hallowed darkness of empty space

And flash a vast peaceful picture, through almighty grace.

Tiny human, looks on, as a slight, delicate, speck of dust

yet releases a powerful silent whisper, from a soul that must,

Find it’s place within this vastness of all things unknown,

Just a human and this thing called universe, innocently, quietly, all alone.

She falls silent

and gently, beautifully, she slips home.

Some day I shall rise

Tonight a single star forces its way through the cloud, its enchanting dance , invigorates, as it light serenades the sky, all just to be seen. Its song is my song, its fight is my fight.
You who would be mighty, you who would be great, you be my masters because I am on my knees.
The great only appear great while I am on my knees.
Some day I shall rise. ∞

Opposites must end

…and yet there is a moment, recalled at least once, by all, yet neglected within its time. A once upon a time moment, it’s fairy tale embedded drip, molten and attached anonymously upon our minds, stealthily impressed, secretly within our hearts.
The perfect moment when the guard was dropped, the care transcended, the need to explain left at doorway of opposites and in this moment, this beautiful perfect moment, we are reborn and will forever live again.

It is then having experienced our perfect moment, we understand the inexorable opposites are that whose existence must come to end.

Amen.  ∞

For you go before me…

We can never go to paradise willingly. Grace chooses us and despite us, not because of us, we like the prodigal son will reluctantly return to paradise. We will return when we have the humility and understanding and knowledge to say “Father, Mother God, creator of everything, without whom nothing could exist, I am your child who lost my way, they say.
Life, source, master of the universe, God of man and child and beast, I rest my head upon your lap, for the journey is hard and the hill ahead is steep”.

I father, put my trust in you, for you go before me to make the crooked places straight, yet I did not know.

Such is life, such is my way.

Full of overflowing love…

BEAUTY OR LOVE

by justme

Who can ever express beauty or love?
Has any man the ability to withhold?
Oh, to see this simple thing

And to understand it’s not we who sing
Ride the train of life my love
End the tapestry of  pain and strife you wove

You are but the beholder not the giver of such
Only God and the invisible can give so much.
Understand no ability have you to withhold

Rain it falls on the young and old.
In the deepest depths of who you are
Gold and frankincense build a tailored tower
How or when or what you think you give
The giver is and only the giver gives

Now is full of overflowing love
Of bursting hearts and flirting doves
While time is still and love complete.

I sit in silence at the masters feet.

And you do well to watch your thought
May God just give, for you my friend, cannot. ∞

Come sing with me

COME SING WITH ME
by justme

Come sing with me, oh choir of man for knaves and kings and precious things
You have not known or understand. Come dance with me, oh child of God
For her and he and all things free, while you still move above the sod

Come lie with me, oh queen of life, for want and will and endless still
That knows not of the human strife, come pray with me, oh spirit child
For tower and tree and bird and bee, that knows there is no wild

Come sleep with me, oh prince of peace, for dark to day and to find a way
That knows all tongue will rest and cease,
Come home with me,
O blessed might
For touch and time, and your life sublime,
that knows you are my loving light

Your now with me, oh spirit man, destiny unfold the master plan
You arrived back home from where you came.
Despite you playing, the human game.

Rest now, all is well….. ∞

I want to love forever

HUMAN
by justme

I want to love forever
Touch my hand, hold me closer
Rest your head upon this shoulder
For the wind blows fierce and raw
Darkness descends
This night suffocates
Everything feels much colder

I don’t want to live forever
Just want to be with you
I will wait a thousand years or lives
To see you again
To feel what I feel here now
I just want to be together

Oh death, tell me the secret of life
When you come is that us over
No more the essence or the touch
No more the voice.
Oh death
Why does love not amount to much?

Rattling bones within a box
All alone,
We wait..
We wait to rot. ∞

Bread of spirit

…and then she rose and spoke and a calm energy filled the space and they knew the ground she standeth on was but hallowed ground, as her words flowed, so too their ears were filled with longing, not for the sounds or rolling of tongue but for the space between, for as the stress of sound and syllable left her tongue to reach the ether so too their hearts filled with remembrance of a yesterday when whence the first remembered their own silent song of longing and fulfilment.

As the drums of man beat out its tone the blood of life flowed from their veins and trickled through the earth to join that holy moment of life and love and foreverness. Her words were but a dance of destiny evoking not the mind of man but of tomorrow and a new dream, they troubled not the intellect for they closed the door against such a fiery guest, yet they flew from the windows to reach the stars and she, yet she knew it not, formed and kneaded the bread of spirit that their spirits together echoed and bellowed a thousand worlds.

…and words were no more. ∞

I am innocence

THE TERROR OF AWAKENING
by justme

I am innocence, yet I know not what that is.
I see the shapes and colours of the flowers, the trees, the butterfly.
I am innocence, yet I know not what that means.
Can you not see what I see? You are taller than I.
Can you not see much more than me?

I am innocence yet I know not what that is.
I see you all. I am not sure of time, of days, of nights.
I do not plan to sleep, mother plans my sleep.
Do not make me afraid for I am innocence
Touch me not, for I am innocence.
Yet I know not what that means.

I am joy, that’s what I live to be.
I am happiness for I am free, for I know no other way.
I see you, why can you big people not see me?
I am called innocence, yet I know not what that means.
Please, please do not hurt me, for I am innocence.
I am.
Let me BE. ∞

Take me home

PRAYER OF THE SILENT RIVER
by justme

Silent river run your stream
Teach me now of all unseen.
Silent river going where?
You weave and dance without a care.

Silent river like a pain ignored
A crutch attached,human man ignored.
Silent river, not so silent now.
Where or when or if or how.

Silent river filled with dreams.
Teasing, tempting is what it seams.
Your going where? Please let us know.
Men don’t know, yet the babble flows.

Silent river please take me home.
To the land were mothers angels roam
And I shall rest and deeply sleep
To dream of past and my secrets keep.

Silent river now I shall die.
I shall never know if you will so cry.
But silent river you shall carry me on.
Until you stop where I belong.

Silent river my fathers here.
The sound of time, no longer near.
Silent river wash my hand
…..

…..and lay me gently, upon the silent land. ∞
