About Michaela

I am a wanderer and a wonderer, like you are. I love our journey and to walk in the company of friends – to learn, experience, share, laugh, cry and above all I simply love this marvelous, magical, mysterious life. I have no plan (cannot believe I am saying this) and my only intention is to be truthful to myself and others.

Silent River

SILENT RIVER
By Justme

Silent river carry my dreams
For all is not, what it seems.
Kiss the morning, wrap up the night.
Clear the skies, let man take flight.
For there beyond the no humans land
Lives a thing, man finds bland.
They run and talk and know and fear.
Yet it’s now that I am here.

Kiss me then and hold me near
For death is watching, the night is near.
Don’t blow the flicker for it’s warm and mine.
See through the mask of blind mankind.

Who is watching the scene?

The night

ONCE UPON A DISTANT SHARPENED NIGHT
By Justme

Once upon a distant sharpened night
When the air was keen and an icy breeze held no fight
A transcendent moon throbbed it’s hazy gleam
As a murmuring trickle, foretold of a gentle hidden stream.

Daisies and dandelions, colours mute, held a colder earthly hug
As a silver glittering trail followed a steady, searching slug.
A hedgehog shuffled and crept slowly and diligently along
As all around the manmade pylons sang and hummed their electric song.

Silent wings threw cloudy flightless shapes
Time stood still for mountains, trees and lakes.
The heavens lights of flashing, silent stars, did hold.
As the Gods looked upon, the greatest story,
a perfect moment, has ever told.

What is gratitude?

A CHILD’S CROSS, A MOTHER’S CROSS
By Justme

Scarlet red explodes then gently trickles descending the veined banks of weary clasping hands.
Clinging to his swollen throbbing feet.
Her mother tears drip and wash but cannot clean or clear the overflowing red
as his body drains upon her hands.
Smoothing skin stems the flow, to push life backwards, gently gentle for what life is left is precious still, to her, for him, her son.
A kneeling muddy mess, clotted hair bound by sweat and blood and tears.
Built upon a memory of her boy who became a man, not yet forty years.

A single tear, drops from him, to her.
A million years of love, with the fullness of a billion stars and space and time.
A woman cries to the heavens,
Universe, replace this woman, for this child of mine!

No voice returns the call, for heaven sleeps, while rivers roar
No hand of man or earth or heaven can sooth this daggered heart
Softly, simply the breeze of life licks her hair
Gently, easy, quietly, the soul of son slips the cross.
With crisscross sandals submerged within a muddy messy place.
She closed her eyes, this woman, this mother
And then an angel,
kissed her face.

Touch your dream

TOUCH YOUR DREAM
By justme

Close your eyes for dreams
For all is not as it seems
The imagined clock stands true
The silence roars to you.
Feel the beat of heart
before the dream will start
Touch your dreams with mine
Feel the dance of rhyme
Then slowly settle down
Let silence be your crown.
Then breathe as if your last
No more future, no more past.
Then slip your hand in mine
Our song it moves with time.
Let your dance be one of joy.
Of a lady and a boy.
Who dared to dream their dream.
To drift upon a mind less, endless stream.
Of love.

From fear to faith

WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO TURN FEAR TO FAITH ?

Quote gelbWithin that which you call fear is your faith. No words can penetrate the mortal man.It is in the silence of beingness that the mist disperses and the light of truth appears. I tell you not to leave your lives but to see them with a new pair of eyes. I ask you not to give up that which you call possessions but to understand they are lifes gifts and no man owns them, it is when you grasp them most that they slip from your grip.Do not leave your friends or family for their actions are there to help you to lead you and their inaction is there to teach you.

Do not give your life for a promise but give for the sake of giving and accept the worst but expect the best for it is in this expectancy of faith that life will reveal itself to all.

Life is not found in the intricate but in the simple.
